Roger Dale Braden, age 62, a resident of the Frost Bottom Community in Anderson County, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Braden was born February 17, 1950 in Oliver Springs. He was a lifelong resident of this area.

Roger worked as a Auto Part Store Manager at Autowise Auto Part Store in Oak Ridge, at Mid State Auto Parts and Premier Automotive Color in Alcoa before his disability.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Braden and Sibyl McCoy Braden and by a sister, Barbara Lloyd.

Roger is survived by a brother, David Braden and his wife, Betty of Frost Bottom, by his former wife, Tammy Braden of Oak Ridge and by a daughter, Ashley McKinney and husband, Chris of Knoxville.

He is also survived by a special niece, Debra Ebbert and family, and by several friends, including a special friend, Charles Michael Brown.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 5, 2013, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm, at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 8:00 pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 2:00 pm, at the Frost Bottom Cemetery. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
