I just learned of the passing of my dear friend. Herbert played Junior High football for me. He was an excellent football player, but a better man. I can say, without question, Herbert was as fine of young man as I ever knew. Coach Ron Ridenour May 11, 2013

I've worked with Herb for several years on the Import shipments through American Magnetics but never had the opportunity to meet him. He was always a pleasure to work with as he was very kind! They say pictures are worth a 1,000, he sure looks like the kind and down to earth man I knew via phone/email :-) It sounds like he enjoyed life to the fullest by enjoying Gods creations of the world and his bike! Please know that I am praying for the Fritts family. May God bless you and your family through this very difficult time. May 10, 2013

Doug and I met Herb many years ago on Windrock Mtn. He walked up to us and told us his name and welcomed us to the Windrock ATV Club family. Since that day, we have felt like a part of that family. Herb always had a big smile on his face and treating us with nothing but caring and kindness. This world has lost a really great caring loving person and we will deeply miss him. The last thing I hear from him was that he would no longer able to ride but would enjoy the trails thru our eyes. I know now that he will be watching us ride from above with that big smile as always. We are thankful to have gotten the chance to know Herb and Deb. Rest in peace our friend. May 09, 2013

How do you say goodbye to such a man? As a young man, he kept me out of trouble more times than I like to admit. As our interest took us in different directions, he was there everytime I needed him, and I mean 100% of the time he was there. Those who knew Herb and read this will know exactly what I'm talking about, that's just the man he was. So, how do you say goodbye, you don't, you just say, see you later. May 07, 2013

Words cannot express my sorrow. Herb was one heck of a trailblazer at Windrock. He and Debbie were there, working on the trails nearly every weekend and were always there to lend a hand on group rides. Herb was one in a million, a better friend couldn't be found in the state. I'm sure he's fired up the Prairie and is now riding the smoothest trails to be found. We will ride with him again one day. May 07, 2013

Absolutely shocking to hear of such a strong man passing. Herb was an icon in the local All Terrain Vehicle Industry. Not many visitors to Windrock Mtn from the mid 90's thru 2008 missed an encounter with him. He was always there on the weekends unless a good hunt presented itself. I learned alot from Herb as did a slew of other fine folks. My thoughts are with Deb. I know she will be just fine. You can't spend that many years with a man like Herb Fritts and not be just as strong as he was. Clear a good trail for the rest of us ole buddy. May 07, 2013

To Herb we must say goodbye He wouldn't want to hear us cry... A sweeter man we've never met In our hearts we'll never forget! The angels came to take him home, Now we are left on earth to roam. To memories now we must resort. For everyone he had a smile And he loved to sit and talk awhile. Now in our hearts Herb still lives on Until our time on earth is gone... Then once again we'll join our friend, Together in time that will never end! May 07, 2013

It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles. Deb,I am so sorry for your loss, Herb was a great man. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts & prayers. May 07, 2013
