Uncle Clifford always made me laugh so hard until I almost cried. I remembered when Granddaddy died and all the grandkids went outside to play basketball. Of course, I got hurt..Uncle Clifford came running and carried me all the way home. He made me stop crying and had me laughing instead. I always loved him dearly and I am thankful he is out of pain and gone to a better place.

Over the past several years as I've raised my own children, I have come to realize how much my dad has influenced me. I had seen many changes in his life over the years and I praise Jesus that he had found a personal relationship with God before his passing. I know that he is in the presence of God and I will see him again. I love you Dad, I will miss you and I WILL see you again....until then Dad....until then.... "those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

Cheryl, I am sorry you lost your dad, but know that everything for him is much better. I so enjoyed looking over the crowd on Sundays and seeing his smiling face. I knew he had to have been an interesting fellow in his youth, and his obit indicates that he was. How blessed you were to have him in your life and how blessed he was that you were so close to in his latter days. Our family loves you very much.

In Memory of Clifford A Bailey. I remember as a very little girl looking out the back door of our trailer in Jacksonville Fl & seeing a car pull into the yard. When I asked who that was, Mom said that is my brother, your Uncle Clifford & your cousins. He has always just been there. I can't imagine him not. But I know I will see him again & knowing him, he would not want us to be sad, he would say something to make us laugh, as he always did. I have many memories & I look forward to many more stories to be told. I Love You Uncle Clifford. RIP Until we meet again.

I will miss the man who became a hero to me and many others. The man who brought me into this world as my Dad and left this world as my brother as well. He was an awesome person and brought smiles and laughter to everyone he met. I love you, Dad.

I am so proud to be your granddaughter, and I'm so grateful for all the time I got to spend with you. I will carry you forever in my heart. I weep, but I weep for joy, for you are no longer in pain. Rest now in the arms of Jesus. I will see you again. I love you, Grandpa, always.
