I was shocked and saddened to hear of Walter's death. I knew him from St. Anne Orthodox Church. He always had a friendly smile for me and my two boys. I enjoyed his sense of humor, and will miss his smile. Please accept my sincerest condolences and know that my family will be praying for the repose of his soul. May his memory be eternal! I was saddened to hear of Walter's death. My daughter loved him and when he'd show up at St. Anne's, she'd run to him and hug him. She called him her "old friend". She would often go hold hands with him in line for Communion. She burst into tears when I told her he fell asleep in the Lord. He will be missed and remembered in our prayers. Jul 24, 2011
