Helen “June” Brown, age 68 a resident of Clinton passed away, Friday, January 11, 2020 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Brown was born June 10, 1951 in Oliver Springs, TN. She was a lifelong resident of this area.
June was a member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church and attended other local churches. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and getting out to do some sight-seeing.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Emmett and Louise Haney; by her husband, Roger Eugene Brown; by a granddaughter, Tyler Roze Brown; by a sister, Betty Nelson; by a brother, Glen Haney and by a sister-in-law, Annelle Brown.
June is survived by children: Roger E. Brown and fiancé Yevett of Oliver Springs, Vernon Brown and fiancé Cher of Clinton, and Eddie Brown and wife, Tiffany of Clinton; by grandchildren: Aaron, Lilly, Olivia, and Ava Rose Brown; by a brother, Ray Haney of Ohio; by a brother-in-law, Gary Brown and wife, Lorraine of Oliver Springs; by special nieces: Karen Messamore and Rebecca Nelson; by beloved friends: Cody Teague and Shelby England and by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends, Monday, January 13, 2020 between the hours of 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Premier Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs. The funeral will follow at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Garvan Walls officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held, Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
