Leslie Renea Stringfield, 52, a resident of Oliver Springs passed away April 5, 2021. She was born August 28, 1968 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
She spent her life dedicated to the care of her family, and of her animals. Over the course of her life she tended to the needs of hundreds of fish, dozens of goats, several dogs - some of which didn't even belong to her - two turtles, one pig, and countless other animals in need.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: John Urick and Laura Keeton Hicks of Oliver Springs; Kenneth and Wilma Rodgers of Kingston.
Ms. Stringfield is survived by her son: Bradley Stringfield; her parents: Murel and Dot Hicks; her many aunts and uncles: Hollis and Judy Hicks, Marsha and Jack Whaley, Janice and Ronnie Henley all of Oliver Springs, Sue Rogers of Kingston, Ann Brock of Georgia, Kay Heart of South Carolina; her five cousins: Stewart Hicks, Krista Whaley, Jason Henley, Nicholas Henley, William "Bill" Long.

The family will host a small receiving of friends on Thursday, April 8, 2021 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Premier Sharp Funeral Home. Burial and private graveside service will be held Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Jonesville Cemetery with Dustin Bonham officiating.
