Manager/Funeral Director/Embalmer
Kirk Gouge started his career at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home before graduating from John A. Gupton Mortuary School in 2004. He spent eight years working for Holley Gamble Funeral Home before becoming the general manager of Premier Sharp Funeral Home in May 2015. In his role at Premier Sharp, Kirk is responsible for managing daily duties of the staff, helping families make arrangements, working funeral services, and embalming. He enjoys serving and caring for people in the community. Born and raised in Coalfield, Kirk graduated from Coalfield High School. Kirk is married to Erika Gouge and has four children: Kane, Korbann, Journey and Emory. In his spare time, Kirk enjoys spending time with his family and playing the guitar.
Business Manager, Pre-Need Sales Agent
Amy Woods Calhoun has rejoined the Premier Sharp family as the Office Manager in March 2018. She handles the administrative side of the office and assists the funeral directors with the families that the funeral home serve.
She enjoys working with the people and interacting with them to better meet their needs during this time in life. She wants to always make this difficult time a little easier by helping families achieve the goals of a wonderful memorial of their family member.
Amy was raised in the Joyner Community of Morgan County, a graduate of Coalfield High School and is married to Ashley Calhoun and they have two children, Taylor (Husband TJ) and Benjamin, and two grandchildren, Wyatt and Wesson.
Amy enjoys working at home and spending time with her family when she is not at the funeral home.
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Lindsey Pack Gilliam joined the Premier Sharp family in April 2017
and works as a dual licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She graduated
from John A. Gupton College in 2013, receiving her Associate of Arts
Degree in Funeral Service. Before joining the team at Premier Sharp, Lindsey
worked for over three years at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home
in Clarksville, TN.
Lindsey was born and raised by Jon and Misty Pack in the Dutch Valley community of Clinton, TN and is a graduate of Clinton High School, class of 2012. Lindsey has a genuine love for every family she serves and takes pride in helping them through a difficult time in their lives. She is engaged to Tyler Copeland and they plan to get married later this year.
Apprentice Funeral Director & Apprentice Embalmer
Jon is a 2023 graduate of John A. Gupton College. He joined Premier Sharp
Funeral Home in August 2021.
He is originally from Virginia and resides in Farragut.
Jon enjoys serving families and providing comfort to those in a time of need. He also assists
with filing insurance claims and performs funeral home maintenance.
In Jon’s spare time, he enjoys playing music, painting, and
camping.
Funeral Assistant
Bruce Gouge began serving in the role of funeral assistant at Premier Sharp Funeral Home in 2015. On any given day, Bruce can be found providing assistance with funerals, visitations, and graveside services. He is happy to help with any needs that may arise. Before Bruce came to Premier Sharp Funeral Home, he owned a trucking company for 12 years. He has also been in the music ministry for over 40 years, with 25 of those years at Cavalry Baptist Church in Oak Ridge, TN, where he still serves in that role today. Bruce’s greatest strength as a funeral assistant is his ability to consult and talk with families. He is a longtime member of the community and he knows his neighbors well. In Bruce’s free time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, Debbie, and their family.
Funeral Assistant
Ed Adcock is a funeral assistant and a licensed pre-need agent who has been at Premier Sharp Funeral Home since 2007. Ed provides funeral directors whatever support may be needed in the process of serving families with dignity and respect. Ed also writes pre-need insurance policies to help families plan ahead. Prior to joining the Premier Sharp Funeral Home family, Ed served in the Air Force for over 25 years before retiring, and worked in sales for 23 years. His biggest contributions are his loyalty and his ability to work as a team player. In his free time, Ed enjoys riding his motorcycle, watching a Cubs game, and following the UT Volunteers.
Custodian/ Funeral Assistant
Heather Sheldon joined the Premier Sharp Family in the Fall
of 2019. Heather works at keeping the facilities clean and neat to ensure the
experience here is comfortable. Heather has recently taken on the role as funeral assistant as well. She helps with services and any daily duties that are needed of her at the funeral home. She is a graduate of Oliver Springs High
School. Heather is married to Jeremiah (J.J.) Sheldon and they have one
daughter, Morgan. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family
and friends.
Funeral Assistant
Loyd Kelly is a funeral assistant at Premier Sharp Funeral Home and has served in this role on and off since 2009. Loyd’s daily duties vary from day to day, and they include setting up flowers for services, running errands, obtaining necessary certificates, and providing comfort to families. In Loyd’s own words, “whatever the families need, we get." Loyd’s previous work history includes insurance sales, driving delivery trucks, and working for the railroad. His biggest strength as a funeral assistant is that he has never met a stranger. His outgoing, warm personality has provided comfort for many families during some of their most difficult times. When not at work, Loyd enjoys fishing and shooting hoops.
Funeral Assistant
Jeff Parrott is a funeral assistant at Premier Sharp Funeral Home, he
began working with the funeral home in March 2020. Jeff is involved in the
funeral home operations, assisting the funeral directors with services in many
different areas. He resides in Oliver Springs. Jeff has been in the ministry
for over 30 years, bringing a kind and compassionate approach to our families. He is married to Michelle Parrott and they
have three sons and one granddaughter. In his spare time, he likes to read and
play with his granddaughter.
